The Judas Lantern
In the Thornwood, a woman known as the Judas Lantern is chosen as a sacrifice and used as bait for the forest beast. Players engage with the village’s grim plan to draw out the creature and rid the woods of it, while the victim is treated as expendable fodder rather than a person.
