The King Betrayed
A short, stand-alone adventure for old-school fantasy role-playing games. The characters explore the long-lost Hall of Iron, the ruined first hall of King Thraindan’s empire, seeking its untouched riches while facing the terrors left behind by jealousy, betrayal, and a terrible curse. Designed for four to six characters of 3rd–5th level, the adventure provides enough material for an evening of play, along with plot hooks that can be expanded into a longer campaign.
