The Militia Games
During Needfest, the militia companies of Gran March gather outside Hookhill for mock battles and contests of martial skill. With the Games opened to outside participants, new competitors take part alongside veterans while learning about the region’s militia groups. Amid the celebration and staged violence, observant characters may uncover signs of a real murder. This introductory adventure is designed for one round of play with 1st-level characters, particularly those willing to participate in the mock combats.
