The Murdered
Decades after a coven of sorcerous bandits conducted human sacrifices in the Great Forest, their victims begin to rise as monstrous, animalistic humanoids. Known as the Murdered, these creatures wear the horned masks used in their deaths and retain only a vestige of their former humanity. They may guard locations for the wizards who created them, but attack other humans on sight. Players encounter these beasts while exploring the forest’s outskirts and uncovering the remnants of the coven’s crimes.
