The Mysterious Forest

Players cooperate to guide a young hero across a dangerous, magical forest and confront the realm’s ruler. The game unfolds in three phases: a scouting phase where players study eight forest cards and try to memorize which equipment will be needed; a preparation phase in which the group rolls dice to assemble items into the hero’s backpack; and an expedition phase where forest cards are revealed one by one and required equipment is discarded to progress. Success requires reaching the final card and having selected the correct equipment before it is revealed. The game emphasizes shared memory, limited-resource allocation, and coordinated decision-making.
