The Rivals for Catan: Axel the Innovator

A promo card introduces an inventor character who can demolish one of the player's buildings and immediately construct another in its place. The player pays only the difference in gold cost between the new building and the removed one, and must still meet any placement or prerequisite rules for the replacement. Play uses this card as a one-time action to reorganize a player's tableau, allowing strategic swaps of buildings while preserving resources on net-costed upgrades.
