This sourcebook expands the Earthdawn setting beyond Barsaive to the Great city of Thera and five provinces under or opposed to its rule. It details regions shaped by magical sands, competing lawgivers, multi-armed demons, brass cities, and ancient conflicts between Passions and Horrors. The book provides information on Theran society, local peoples, political tensions, and adventure possibilities for campaigns in distant lands, along with four new player-character races.
