The World Cup Game

Play through historical international tournaments using team flag tiles, action tiles and cards to resolve matches and progress across a tournament board. Two separate scenarios recreate the 1930 Uruguay tournament (about one hour) and the 2002 Korea/Japan tournament (about three hours), with modular components for expanded years available. Gameplay uses action selection, dice resolution and resource tokens (plastic footballs) to score goals, issue cards and manage officiating decisions as teams advance through group and knockout stages. The box includes large boards, national flag tiles, action tiles and cards, dice, score sheets and a rulebook to run full multi-match tournaments.
