Through the Ages: New Leaders and Wonders
Adds a new set of historical leaders, wonders and military cards that replace or expand the leadership and wonder choices available in the base game. Players draft and play these new cards while managing resources, technologies, government types and military strength to develop their civilization over successive ages. The expansion integrates with the core game’s mechanics, altering strategic options and changing how civilizations evolve and interact.

When a proxy leader or wonder is revealed in the card row, which card do I take?
Replace the proxy with the matching leader or wonder from the leader/wonder board (the board’s card enters the card row) and discard the proxy to the civil discard pile for that age. (See page 5.)
When do production bonuses apply, and do I add them one-by-one or all at once?
During production you do your usual production first, then add up all production bonuses and gain those resources all at once (you may represent the total as you like). (See page 6.)
How do I track and spend temporary "resources for a specific purpose" — do they use blue tokens and when do they disappear?
Those resources are always temporary: do not represent them with blue tokens, spend them first when paying for eligible costs, and any leftovers disappear at the end of your turn. (See page 6.)
If Call to Arms forces me to lose civil actions but Rebellion prevents losing actions, do I still draw the military cards?
You draw military cards only for the number of civil actions you actually lose; if Rebellion prevents some losses, you draw fewer (or no) cards accordingly. (See page 12.)
If I kidnap an action or technology card, can I play it immediately?
You may kidnap an action card during your Politics Phase and then play that action card during your Action Phase of the same turn; note the taking limitations (hand limit, no duplicate technology in hand/play, and not taking two leaders from the same age). (See page 12.)
Do production bonuses count for effects that count your resource production (like Empire State Building)?
Yes — production bonuses are included whenever a card counts your resource production, though some cards that specify "mines only" (e.g., Impact of Industry) are exceptions. (See page 6.)
