Transylvania: Curses & Traitors

In late-19th-century Transylvania, a terrible curse allows vampires, werewolves, and zombies to terrorize the region. Players take the roles of adventurers seeking the knowledge needed to break the curse, while risking transformation into one of the monsters they hunt. A modular board represents locations such as the Church, Graveyard, and Castle. Players explore new tiles, attempt challenges of strength, mental acuity, and spiritual fortitude, manage cards, and resolve events with dice. Quest cards provide knowledge and other rewards, while failures can cause injury or death. Victory comes from breaking the curse and returning to the Church, killing a monster as an adventurer, or becoming a monster and eliminating half the other players.
