Vauban's Wars: Wargame Rules for Siege Warfare

Siege warfare from 1672 to 1815. These rules cover major conflicts including the Wars of Louis XIV, the War of the Austrian Succession, the Seven Years’ War, the Russo-Austrian Turkish Wars, the French Revolutionary Wars, and the Napoleonic Wars. Players manage powder, food, disease, weather, security, popular support, and critical damage while conducting sapping, mining, countermining, espionage, trench raids, coups de main, and assaults. Each turn represents roughly three to four days, with flexibility to use separate tactical rules for large sorties and attacks. The system is designed for a complete siege in an evening.
