Weasel Family Picnic
A village has been overrun by a weasel family and their rat war-band, while survivors hide and prisoners await their fate. The adventurers operate from a fortified monastery and must cross the river to disrupt the occupation. This stand-alone Shadowdark adventure for levels 2–3 focuses on scouting, infiltration, sabotage, rescue, negotiation, and exploration. Multiple routes and strategies are possible, including stealth, deception, assassination, or direct assault, with clever planning often preferable to open combat. It is suitable for a one-shot, convention game, side trek, or campaign adventure.
