Where Cool Waters Run

An encounter unfolds at a peaceful water’s edge, where weary travelers find cool water and tall grass, while hidden dangers lurk nearby. Designed as a standalone adventure for the Castles & Crusades role-playing game, it supports 2–5 characters of 4th–7th level and can be completed in one to two hours. Smaller groups are intended to use higher-level characters.
