In 2075, the Seattle Mariners are making an unexpected championship run behind rising-star pitcher Rube Martin, known as “The Mage.” When allegations of match-fixing threaten the team’s miracle season, runners investigate to uncover the truth. The investigation soon reveals a corporate conspiracy with consequences for all of Seattle, potentially involving nuclear destruction. Players use hacking, legwork, negotiation, and combat to determine Martin’s fate and stop the threat. This mid-length Shadowrun 5th Edition scenario includes branching outcomes, timelines, NPC motivations, and guidance for scaling encounters.
