Humanity is entering a new stage of evolution as people around the world develop extraordinary powers. The mutant community is divided between those who seek human coexistence and those who want to establish mutant supremacy. Players take the roles of ordinary members of this conflict rather than its heroic leaders. They pursue personal ambitions and react to the surrounding turmoil while jealousy, resentment, and poor decisions shape their lives.
