Washington's Crossing

A historical wargame covering the winter campaign of 1776–1777, including the American victories at Trenton and Princeton. Players activate leaders using points based on rank, maneuver forces across a map of the campaign area, and resolve combat with rules for surprise, leader quality, and outflanking. An original river-crossing system represents the uncertainty of winter operations. Each strength point represents 10 men, with hexes covering 1.14 miles and four turns representing one day. The game supports solitaire play and typically takes 6–10 hours.
