Liberty or Death: The American Insurrection

A multi-faction simulation of the American Revolutionary era in which players assume the roles of Patriots, British, Indians, or French and contest control across a regional map. Players use a 110+ card deck and card-driven actions to conduct military operations, political and economic commands, and irregular activities such as militia rabble-rousing, Indian raids, privateering, and naval blockades. Leaders enable powerful “Brilliant Stroke” moves, regulars and militia fight line battles and skirmishes, and factions must manage recruitment, funding, and local support. Scenarios range from short to campaign length and support 1–4 players, with player aids and solo rules to run any faction.
