Alexander at Waterloo

A fantasy alternate-history scenario that places Napoleonic-era British and allied troops from the Duke of Wellington against the phalanxes and cavalry of Alexander the Great. Units, formations, and terrain follow the parent tactical wargame’s rules, while order of battle and unit types reflect the clash between early 19th-century line infantry, cavalry and artillery and ancient Greek heavy infantry and companion cavalry. Players maneuver brigades and battalions, resolve musketry, melee and artillery according to standard La Bataille mechanics, and contend with differences in command, cohesion and combat factors between modern and ancient forces. The scenario emphasizes formation management, timing of attacks and combined-arms coordination.
