Alone Against the Dark (2nd edition)

A solo Call of Cthulhu mini-campaign set in the fall of 1931. Beginning with the theft of a priceless relic, investigators uncover strange disappearances and a threat to the world as they travel from New York City to Greece, Egypt, Germany, and Antarctica. Players take the role of one of four investigators, including a linguistics professor, a reporter, a sailor, and an industrialist. Using the Call of Cthulhu rules, a pencil, and roleplaying dice, they investigate clues, face supernatural dangers, and try to prevent the awakening of an ancient city before time runs out. If an investigator is killed or lost to madness, another can take their place.
