Alone Against the Frost

A solo horror adventure set during a 1920s research expedition into the remote Northwest Territories of Canada. Players take the role of an anthropologist from Miskatonic University, leading three students and a local guide through the North Hanninah valley in search of an important discovery. The adventure unfolds through more than 650 numbered entries, with choices determining the expedition’s route and outcome. Players use a pencil, roleplaying dice, and the Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition rules to manage dangers including harsh weather, wildlife, white water, local superstitions, and threats to the group’s survival and sanity.
