Alone Against the Static

A solo Call of Cthulhu scenario set in the Black Hills of South Dakota during the early 1990s. Alex and Charlie seek to repair their marriage during a secluded weekend, but ancient horrors await beyond the reach of the radio signal. Choose to play as Alex or Charlie, each with distinct strengths, weaknesses, and choices. No Keeper is required. A Log Sheet records decisions, discoveries, and items, while also tracking achievements across multiple playthroughs. The scenario introduces a new Mythos entity for use in other Call of Cthulhu adventures. Mature themes include grief, isolation, relationships, and heartbreak.
