Ascetic Characters

This Pathfinder supplement presents alternate rules and character options for experienced players, centered on spiritual development, personal philosophy, and unconventional martial arts. Characters can pursue enlightenment through the Awakening system, invest their own aura in items, and replace or supplement alignment with philosophical systems such as Absolutism, Nihilism, and Consequentialism. A revised Chakra system, new feats, and optional verbal-duel interactions expand these themes. Three base classes are included: the improvisational, self-risking Flowmaster; the psychic Ajna, who fights through an exposed astral projection; and the Kashun, who channels cosmic energy through dramatic poses and specialized techniques.
