The premiere issue of this ASL magazine, released in 1999, combines articles, tactical advice, historical analysis, and scenario play. Topics include smoke, tank tactics, Japanese operations in the Pacific, Red Barricades campaign games, and solitaire ASL using the included rule pages S23–S25. The issue includes twelve standard scenarios, J1–J12, along with four SASL missions: Assault on the Assembly Hall, Breakout!, Hold the Factory, and Assault on Red Barricades.
