Baron Von Chop

An encounter for a fantasy roleplaying campaign set during the village of Armonk’s Winter Purchasing Season. While villagers revive a snow person, gather gingerbread, and cut trees from the Friendly Forest, the wicked Baron Von Chop sends magical mechanical wood choppers to clear the forest, conquer the village, and enslave its people. The base encounter is designed for a challenge rating of 3 and includes background information, maps, monster statistics, and ready-to-run encounter details. A companion ZIP file provides map images with and without grids, an editable encounter document, and a Fantasy Grounds Unity module.
