Players command company- to battalion-scale units on a 400 m/hex map that covers the town and nearby approaches, with each turn representing one day. Gameplay emphasizes perimeter defense and mechanized delaying actions, using rules for road marching, Team SNAFU, barrages, and air strikes within a streamlined, low-complexity framework. The box includes three scenarios (Noville, Longvilly with the 501st actions, and the full 10-turn campaign) plus variants, and supports two players or solitaire play in roughly 4+ hours.
