BATTALIA NCBC: The Order of the Half Oracle

This mini-expansion adds three neutral NPC miniatures to the competitive fantasy setting: Dishearter, Truth-Squeezer, and Challenger. They do not belong to any faction and can be combined with the base game or its larger expansion. Each NPC introduces a different adventure element and strategic challenge. Dishearter attempts to turn opponents and undermine their courage and convictions, Truth-Squeezer extracts information and removes obstacles, while Challenger forces difficult choices between success and its consequences. NPCs can be used in varied combinations, with no more than three types recommended to keep the game’s complexity manageable. Their supplementary rules are provided as printable online files.
