Blood Red Skies: Soviet Ace Pilot – Lydia Litvyak

This expansion for a World War II aircraft miniatures game adds the Soviet ace pilot Lydia Litvyak and her Yakovlev Yak-1 fighter. It includes an aircraft card, trait cards, pilot skill discs, an ace card, and ace skill cards for use with the core game. Litvyak served with the Soviet 586th Fighter Regiment and became the first woman fighter pilot to shoot down an enemy aircraft. Her cards and aircraft add her combat abilities and historical record to aerial battles.
