Bughouse Chess

Bughouse Chess is a board game for 4 players. It plays in 10 minutes and is meant for ages 10 and up.

A team chess variant played by four people across two boards, with partners sitting together and playing opposite colors. Captured pieces pass to the teammate, who may either make a standard move or place the piece on an unoccupied square, except that pawns cannot be placed on the first or eighth rank. Chess clocks typically set five-minute time controls, and the first player to be checkmated or run out of time ends the match for both boards.
