The Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path begins in Sandpoint, a small coastal town preparing to celebrate the consecration of a new temple. When disaster strikes during the Swallowtail Festival, the player characters become the town’s newest heroes and investigate goblin attacks, treachery, and threats emerging from forgotten ruins. This volume contains an adventure for 1st-level characters, an exploration of Sandpoint, a history of the ancient empire of Thassilon, the first Pathfinder’s Journal entry, and six new monsters.
