Captain's Log #1 is a board game for 2 players.

A supplement containing a short story and a five-player scenario that pits Federation, Tholian, Klingon, Orion and an extra‑galactic Juggernaut against one another. The scenario combines tactical combat and diplomatic negotiation, requiring players to balance firepower with alliances and maneuvering. Also provides diagrams and a rules system for resolving combat when ships occupy the same hex, introducing procedures and charts to handle close‑quarters engagements more systematically. Requires the boxed edition of the base tactical game to play; many scenarios reference material from the three official expansions.
