Chariots of Fire: Chariots of the Gods

A tactical-level wargame set in ancient Vedic India, simulating chariot-era battles and heroic duels from roughly 1700–800 BCE. Players command mixed tribal armies of chariots, bow-armed infantry, and javelin infantry, plus new unit types including dismounted chariots and lance-armed cavalry. Heroes fight from moving chariots and can suffer hits representing the rider, charioteer, or banner. Gameplay covers river crossings, rough terrain and strongholds, with rules for shock combat, tribal flight, and scenarios that vary from small river actions to large set-piece battles across chariot-friendly plains.
