Christmas Tree: Essen Special Cards

A two-card mini-expansion that adds alternate objective cards usable in both the normal and advanced game. At the start of each round, any player who draws a Special card reveals it and draws a replacement ornament card; the Special cards are then placed face-up in the center. After selecting the regular objective cards, players may also place any Special cards they hold (in the advanced game, after objectives have circulated). At scoring, players may choose to evaluate one (or two) Special objective(s) from the table instead of one (or two) of the original objective cards, allowing optional replacement of a standard objective with a Special one that rewards specific three-ornament formations (two matching glass ornaments flanking a gingerbread or wrapped candy).
