A set of mercenary and faction tiles adds new troops and special characters to the base card-driven area-control game. Players draft, deploy, and bid for mercenaries and faction units—such as heroes, a Cyclops, Elves, and Orc clans—and resolve battles and effects that alter control of provinces. This expansion integrates with the core game and other reinforcement sets, enabling mixed play. It requires the base game to play.
