Clash of Wills: Shiloh 1862

Set at the Battle of Shiloh in April 1862, the game recreates the opening clash between Confederate and Union armies in the western theater of the American Civil War. One player commands the Confederate surprise attack on the Union camps around Shiloh Church, seeking to rout the defenders and capture Pittsburg Landing before reinforcements arrive. The Union player must withstand the first day's assault, hold the advancing Confederate forces at bay, and deploy fresh troops on the second day to counterattack.
