Comic Hunters

Spelers jagen in drie rondes op zeldzame en invloedrijke stripnummers om themacollecties samen te stellen. Elke ronde bezoeken spelers drie van de vier locaties om stripkaarten te bemachtigen. Vervolgens leggen ze de gekochte kaarten op tafel bij hun heldencollecties. Door een kaart toe te voegen, schuiven markers op verschillende icoonsporen vooruit (Nummer 1, Eerste Verschijning, Nieuwe Visuele Look, Speciale Editie, Memorabele Clashes). Deze leveren punten op naarmate ze vorderen, terwijl collecties ook punten scoren op basis van hun omvang. Na drie rondes wint de speler met de meeste punten uit de iconen en de collectietotalen.

Perfect theme for a set-collection game! There is not much to not like about the game if you like set-collection and drafting. Reminds me a lot of Museum Pictura as it has many overlapping mechanisms but I do prefer Museum Pictura more as a hardcore set-collection game. Having said that, the Marvel Comic theme makes this a bigger standout for me than anything else.
