Commands & Colors: Ancients Expansion Pack #6 – The Spartan Army

This expansion covers Spartan warfare from 669 BC to 338 BC, including the development of Hoplite armies, the Persian Wars and Thermopylae, the Peloponnesian Wars, the Theban Era, and the rise of Macedon. It includes 26 historical scenarios featuring Spartan forces and their allies against armies from the Greek and Eastern Kingdoms expansion. The expansion adds 228 blocks, labels, reference material, and 30 double-sided terrain tiles. Hoplite infantry uses special rules while retaining the core system of Command cards, battle dice, terrain, and historical unit capabilities. The base game and the Greek and Eastern Kingdoms expansion are required.
