Cthulhu Confidential Core Rulebook

A standalone investigative roleplaying game set in the hardboiled noir of 1930s Los Angeles and New York, and wartime Washington, DC. Players take the roles of lone investigators—a private detective, an ambitious reporter, or a scholar and veteran—using their wits, fists, and personal codes to uncover crimes, conspiracies, and supernatural threats tied to the Cthulhu Mythos. The book includes three complete adventures, each centered on a different protagonist and setting. Investigations involve questioning suspects, following leads, confronting corrupt officials and criminals, and facing madness and corruption as hidden cosmic horrors emerge beneath human wrongdoing.
