Cthulhu Wars: The Windwalker Expansion

A new faction brings Ithaqua, the god of Outer Space, and a cold-themed force that strengthens toward the late game. Players field cultists, Wendigos that spawn when units die, Gnoph-Kehs whose cost drops as their numbers grow, and the durable lesser Great Old One Rhan-Tegoth. Gameplay emphasizes late-game escalation: sweeping wind and ice-themed spellbooks and abilities power large armies and create feedback loops that pressure opponents to address growing threats. Several faction traits bolster resilience—cultists cannot be captured, Wendigos appear for free after kills, and certain units are effectively permanent—shaping strategic timing and opponent responses.
