Friendly towns work together to hide witches and thwart the witch hunter. One player becomes the witch hunter, while the others exchange cards, protect key cards in the woods, and try to gather three witches of the same suit in one hand. The witch hunter observes the towns’ discussions and card movements before choosing two cards to capture, while avoiding villagers, rituals, and a fake witch that can release captured witches. Each round follows Census, Arrival, Travel, and Hunt phases until either the witch hunter captures five witches or the towns form a coven.
