Death Ascendant

The remnants of the Ebon Fold are draining travelers of their life force across the Falkovian countryside. Following their trail with the aid of a young vistani fortune-teller, the characters travel through Darkon to the city of Nartok, where the assassins vanish inside the Temple of the Eternal Order. The temple, the Kargat secret police, and the killers appear to be working together while collecting life energy for an unknown purpose. Characters investigate the conspiracy, interpret cryptic tarokka readings, and work to prevent a foretold disaster. This full-length adventure can be played as a standalone scenario or as the second installment in the Grim Harvest series, for three to six characters of levels 6–8.
