Devolved Psychics

In a declining interstellar empire, government laboratories transform human subjects into apes, lizards, fish, amoebas, and other devolved forms while searching for new technologies. A scientist’s attempt to create worm-like navigators instead produces psychic beings with ambitions of their own. The game focuses on these devolved psychics and their efforts to make humanity serve them, set against the remnants of a corrupt and exploitative research program.
