A themed card-set expansion for the Catan card system that combines political, military and trade elements. Players build a tableau city from cards and roll a die each turn to generate resources based on their city cards. Cards represent settlements, towns, knights, merchants and political figures that grant victory points and special abilities. Players spend resources to play cards, activate abilities and interact indirectly with opponents through card effects. Victory is earned by accumulating points from built locations and specialty cards while managing resources and timing.
