An art zine set in the Thousand Thousand Islands, a patchwork reality inspired by Southeast Asia. It features 44 pages of detailed black-and-white illustrations depicting sea battles, spirit masks, shamans, markets, ships, masked dancers, orangutan-men, and scenes of daily life. Texts and sketches explore the use and context of three facets of pre-modern Southeast Asian life: the finger knife, the fire piston, and betel-chewing. The zine serves as an appendix to A Thousand Thousand Islands.
