This expansion introduces a surreal seafaring layer to the base game, adding whirlpools, a royal writs card and a wooden siren component. Whirlpool discs change movement and navigation on the map, creating new tactical considerations for ships and positioning. The royal writs and siren add interaction with existing mechanics, modifying objectives and player choices without replacing core rules.
