Founding Fathers: Civil War & the Gilded Age

Extend the political dealmaking of the base game through the Civil War, Gilded Age, and First World War. New scenarios cover the Civil War and Gilded Age, while additional rules allow a campaign from Washington’s administration through Wilson’s. Variable Outcome cards determine the results of major wars, and a new action lets players gain and take votes in Congress. The Election Table resolves elections based largely on the previous President’s conduct, while Regime Change can provide a sudden-death victory. New Offices, including the Admiral, and Initiative cards expand presidential options. The expansion adds 198 cards, including Issues and Statesmen, and requires components from the base game.
