Freebooters on the Frontier

A fantasy roleplaying game about adventurers exploring the wilderness in search of treasure, with Fighters, Thieves, Clerics, and Magic-Users seeking enough wealth to retire. Character creation is largely randomized, including names and appearance, and survival is uncertain. The game uses a Dungeon World-based ruleset adapted for wilderness exploration and treasure hunting. Arcane and divine magic are volatile, with spell effects negotiated from unusual generated names, while structured moves resolve exploration, danger, and other actions. Rules include four character playbooks, equipment, and moves, while monster rules use the Dungeon World system.
