Frostgrave: Sellsword

A digital mini-expansion for a fantasy skirmish game set in a frozen, ruined city. Wizards can hire captains to lead their warbands. Captains choose their own weapons, use special “tricks of the trade,” and gain experience, but demand a share of the treasure instead of a standard retainer. The expansion also includes three scenarios that give soldiers a greater role. Each introduces a limitation or obstacle to spellcasting, requiring careful consideration of how much the warband relies on magic.
