Includes components for five-player games, new ship classes and building tiles, life-support pieces for a new alien crew type, and additional adventure and special-event cards that players can insert to alter the deck. Includes an updated version of a previous card set and a compatibility kit is required to fully integrate with the first edition due to component differences.

I separated the alien and booster objects and put everything else in the main box. When we play the basic game the aliens will stay out. If we choose to play with them, we can put them in.
