Gruesome Foes

This roleplaying supplement provides templates, feats, and alternative class features that transform familiar fantasy monsters into unsettling, horror-themed foes. Plague dragons, ambush predators, undead masses, and other creatures gain distinctive appearances, behaviors, abilities, and gruesome origins. Each template includes the rules needed to use it, including the shock value mechanic, along with descriptive material and encounter suggestions. The options can be added to existing monsters or used to build new encounters around specific fears, environments, and horror themes.
