Gunship: Tactical Bomber / Fortress

This expansion adds a Tactical Bomber and a planetary Fortress for four-player battles. The Bomber uses landscape boards with ten hit locations, three bomb bays, and a customizable rear turret. Its payloads include high-explosive Nova Bombs and Plasma Bombs, which introduce a fire mechanic, but the craft is slower and harder to repair than a Gunship. A new attacker-versus-defender system pits one team against a planet defended by a Carrier, Gunship, Fighters, and Fortress. The opposing team deploys a Carrier, Gunship, Tactical Bomber, and Fighter Squadrons, with the objective of destroying the Fortress. Bombing objectives also feature in the Storyline Mode.
